How much does a new pool house cost?
The simple answer? It varies greatly depending on the options and add-ons you want, as well as the size of the pool house.
Many of our projects are completely turnkey, custom pool houses, decked out in the highest caliber materials and options, including fire features, outdoor kitchens, full bathrooms and guest quarters, outdoor showers, storage space, and more. Such a project can range upwards of $250,000 or more.
On the other hand, we’ve also done simple but beautiful pool homes with unfinished interiors that clients may decide to finish later (either on their own or with us). These types of pool houses range in the $40,000 - $60,000 range. For example, an 18' x 24' basic Avalon Pool House (unfinished interior) starts at about $56,000. Something a bit smaller, such as a 16' x 20' starts around $45,000.

Do I need a permit to build a pool house in Wayne, PA?
Most townships require permits for structures such as pool houses. We’re able to help pull permits for all of our Wayne-area clients. That includes the surrounding towns, such as Devon, King of Prussia, Radnor, Berwyn, Chesterbrook, and Villanova.
However, it’s always best to check with your local township office on what sort of permits are required. While most of Wayne is considered Radnor Township (in Chester County), there are areas that extend into Tredyffrin Township in Chester County and Upper Merion Township in Montgomery County.
You can learn more about each township’s permit requirements on the following websites:
